Prewriting that I use

Prewriting is a very important and common thing for writers to use. Most people will prewrite and some don’t even realize you are doing it. There are so many different forms of prewriting. The one I use the most is mainly jotting things down into a list form. Topics I will provide in my paper along with subtopics that go with those and supporting facts and things like that write down. I also may do research and write down things I find online along with their sources.

I have used prewriting successfully in the past several different ways. I have made lists, used the bubble method, made outlines that outline my whole paper, mentally put images into my head, I have even used brainstorming before I have even thought of ideas for a topic to write about. I would just make a list of different things I could write about then I would narrow it down. I also like to outline how I will put things in order within my paper.

I also like to have someone peer edit my paper. When I write I always like someone’s input before I turn it in. This always makes me feel better.

Prewriting is a good thing to use when you begin thinking about a paper to write.
